As an experiment, I have introduced a new "comments" feature. Readers are invited to pipe up with their responses to any of my postings by clicking on the "comments" link underneath it. If the volume of replies (or the feedback, via either comments or email) suggests that readers appreciate the feature, then I'll keep it around; otherwise, I'll return to my previous practice of shouting incoherently into a silent, passive cyberspace.
